Registering For Class
What is the cost of a class at The Painted Cabernet?
The price for a regular class is $45 per person. Childrens classes are $35 per person. We may occasionally offer a specialty class at a different price.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
There is limited seating, so we highly recommend signing up in advance. The easiest way is to register online is clicking on
CLASSES page. You will be able to view the featured painting for each class and you can request to be seated with your friends. Please note that payment in full is required to make a reservation.
What time do I arrive for class?
Please check-in 15 minutes before the start of your class. No need to bring your confirmation email. Simply check in with your name.
What is the age limit?
Guests must be 14+ for our regular classes. For our Childrens Classes, we recommend 5+. However, children cannot be dropped off. Parents are encouraged to also register and paint. You do have the option to sit at our patio.
What is a painting class like at The Painted Cabernet?
The classes are a perfect for beginners. The artist instructor will guide you step-by-step to recreate the featured painting. Classes last approximately 2 to 2-1/2 hours and there is a break.
Attending A Class
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We recommend getting there 15 minutes prior to your class to check-in, get your apron and purchase any drinks. Classes start promptly and you will need a few minutes to get settled.
What do I wear?
We recommend wearing something comfortable. You are able to store your coats/bags on hooks in the back, away from the painting tables.
Can I change the style of the featured painting?
Absolutely! Our guests are welcomed to change up their unique art piece. Our instructors will be there to answer any questions or provide some advice.
Do you serve Food at The Painted Cabernet?
We’re now offering delicious meals to enjoy while you create your masterpiece. Choose from fresh flatbreads or hot personal pizzas, made-to-order paninis, fresh hummus plates, warm seasoned nuts, oven-baked chocolate chip cookies and more! It’s the perfect pairing for your glass of wine and a night of fun! Full menu is available at our bar.
Do you allow dogs on the premises?
We love dogs! However, because we are serving food and beverages, the health department will not allow animals in our studio. Service dogs are gladly welcomed, but please do not take advantage of this rule and bring your pets.
Beverages + Food
Do you provide Wine or Beer?
We offer wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. We prominently feature wines from the Central Coast. We also have Champagne, Mimosas, Bellinis and Beer. Other beverages include water, soda, juice and other non-alcoholic beverages. Wine can be purchased by the glass or bottle.
Can I BYOB?
We do not allow BYOB.
Is Food Available to Purchase?
Yes, we do serve meals! Choose from freshly made flatbreads, hot personal pizzas, fresh hummus plates, warm seasoned nuts, oven-baked chocolate chip cookies and more! It’s the perfect pairing for your glass of wine and a night of fun!
Cancellation / Refund
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. You can request a refund or a credit towards a future class. Cancellations must be made by email or phone (leaving a voicemail is fine). We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds or class credit for No Shows as we have reserved your seat. Thank you in advance for your respect of our reservation policy.
